Over 2,000 years ago, Roman slave and philosopher Publilius Syrus said, “Good health and good sense are two of life’s greatest blessings” and that is even more true today. We try to live healthy lives by eating right, thinking right and exercising but we still have limited control over our “good health.” Major illness and accidents can strike at any time and at any age. Every year approximately 40% of the population of Los Angeles County is rushed to a hospital emergency room and a recent study showed that the average per day cost is $3,949 and the average hospital stay cost is $15,734. But physician fees and surgeries can add tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to these hospital charges. There is no getting around it. Health care is costly and a single health incident can wipe out a savings account or bring years of debt. That’s why it makes “good sense” to have health insurance that will protect your finances and give you peace of mind.

If you enroll by December 31st your coverage will start January 1st. If you enroll between January 1st and January 31st, your coverage will begin on February 1st.
